Ed Beaumont (64) grew up in a small town in central NY in the turbulent '60's, graduating from high school in 1963.  The USA had entered the Vietnam war and it divided our country.  It was a time in US history when words and phrases like "establishment", "Hell No We Won't Go", "Pig" (aka law officer), " draft card", "the draft lottery", "Go to Canada", and  "Hippie"  were used daily, if not hourly.

     There were two America's at that time.  Half of our nation supported the war and half did not.  Colleges and Universities were breeding places for the ideology of fighting the "establishment" and Rock-n-Roll music was blaring over every radio station in America.  "Woodstock" became the mantra and all hell broke loose in our country.

      He enlisted in the Army and did a 7-yr. hitch, when combining active duty and guard duty.  Each man had an obligation to serve six (6) years at the time.  Between the active duty stint and the national guard service, he married his high school sweetheart in 1966, they had two children, and embarked upon their dream of living the Ozzie & Harriet lifestyle. (TV series for you young people)

     Ed entered into the insurance business as an employee-agent that year and then started his own  independent agency in 1969.  Eight years later (1978) he merged his agency with two others and operated as an officer of that enlarged firm for nine years. In 1987 he founded a very successful commercial insurance brokerage, which operated a state-wide insurance program for a single industry. He remained the president and CEO until, after 43 years of service, his retired from the insurance profession in 2009.

     During those years he was active in many other areas as well.  He "enlisted" again...and got involved in a network marketing business and was very successful in that realm as well.  The strain of operating two insurance corporations, being a motivational speaker and building a multi-level marketing business began to take its toll.  Ed's bride of 32 years died on August 26th, 1998 as a result of complications with multiple sclerosis.  Four months later Beaumont encountered bacterial meningitis, was rushed to the hospital with "6 hours to live" when a brain tumor was also discovered.  Seventeen hours of surgery, 6 weeks in the hospital and the Grace of God brought him through his toughest trial yet.

     His other interests came to fruition during that period as well.  On January 1st. 2002, he was ordained as a Chaplain and soon began a jail ministry.  He was also a Town Magistrate (Judge) until the brain tumor matter caused his retirement from the bench.

     In 2008 two great things happened in Ed's life.  He remarried to a wonderful gal (Penny) who supports him in everything he does AND with retirement from the insurance business facing him in the near future, he founded and began operating "Ed Beaumont - Internet Marketing Consultant" which exploded immediately!

     Now Beaumont is a mentor and teacher of internet marketing skills and computer-operated systems that have helped Internet marketers, direct sellers and network marketers build their businesses to exciting new levels.
